Hbg - JFK / NYC - you pay TheRideMatch $35 fee; a fair cost sharing is about $230-250 (depends on # of people, luggage weight, expected tolls and parking costs, type of vehicle and time).
How does it work:
TheRideMatch will connect you with a person who plans to drive to your designated area as a part of his/her job, studies or trip plan.
All 'drivers' have an agreement with TheRideMatch to keep their car smoking free, to be on time and to adjust their driving style to your satisfaction.
You both will set your share of the trip cost; see below a suggested guidelines.
The fee for TheRideMatch service is for connecting you with the right person; it will be paid only after a 'driver' that matches your rout and schedule is found.
